Hubbo helps you write replies when you text people you're dating. To do that, it stores what you put into it. This page explains what that is, why, and who else handles it. In short: your data is only visible to you, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Questions about your data: hello@gethubbo.com.
What we store
- Your account: your email address. If you sign in with Google, also the name and profile picture Google shares with us.
- People you add: the name or nickname you give them, where you met (dating app, in person, already dating) and any notes you write.
- Conversations: the chat text you paste, and the text Hubbo reads from screenshots you upload. The screenshots themselves are not stored.
- Dates you log: the date, your rating and how likely you think another date is, plus any note.
- Suggestions and results: the reply suggestions Hubbo gives you, which one you sent, and whether you got a reply.
- On your device only: your display name and light/dark setting are saved in your browser, not on our servers.
Conversations include messages written by the other person. Please don't add sensitive details about them (or you) that aren't needed to get a good reply.
Why we use it
- To give you reply suggestions and show your conversations, dates and stats.
- To improve Hubbo. We look at patterns across all users, such as which kinds of messages tend to get replies, to make the suggestions better. We don't use your data for advertising and we never sell it.
- To send you sign-in emails.
Who else handles your data
Hubbo uses these services to run. Each only gets what it needs for its job:
- Supabase stores the database (in the EU, Frankfurt) and handles sign-in.
- Vercel hosts the website and runs the server.
- Google (Gemini) and, as a backup, Groq are the AI services that read the conversation and write the suggestions. Depending on their terms, they may use the text they receive to improve their own services.
- Resend sends the sign-in emails (in the EU, Ireland).
- Google handles "Continue with Google" if you choose it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you have an account. When you delete a person in Hubbo, their conversation, dates and sent messages are deleted with them. To delete your whole account, email us and we'll delete it within 30 days.
Your choices
- See and download your data: Settings → Export, or email us.
- Correct or delete it: edit or delete people in the app, or email us to delete everything.
- Ask questions or complain: email us. If you're in the EU/EEA you can also contact your local data protection authority.
Age
Hubbo is for people aged 18 and over.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app.
